'Act of Valor', 'Gone' Films Not Screened for Press Open February 24th

On February 24, Americans will have the opportunity to see a group of active-duty Navy SEALs at work in a powerful story of contemporary global anti-terrorism in the film Act of Valor. Inspired by real life missions, Act of Valor combines stunning combat sequences, up-to-the minute battlefield technology and heart-pumping emotion in the ultimate action adventure. The film takes audiences deep into the secretive world of the most elite, highly trained group of warriors in the modern world.

No stranger to riveting dramatic performances on film, actor Sam Upton stars alongside Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Carpenter in the new suspense thriller GONE (in theatres everywhere on February 24th/SUMMIT Films).

In GONE, ‘Jill Parrish’ (Seyfried) comes home from a night shift to discover that her sister ‘Molly’ has been abducted – having escaped from a kidnapping the year before, she is convinced that the same serial killer has come back and taken
'Molly.’ The town’s police unit comprised of Sam Upton, Jennifer Carpenter and Daniel Sunjata think that ‘Jill’ is out of her mind and are unwilling to use their resources to help her. Afraid that ‘Molly’ will be dead by sundown, she sets out alone on a heart-pounding chase to find the killer, expose his secrets and save her sister, all while Upton’s character is on the move to find her before she hurts herself or anyone else.
