In this tactile and mixed
media class, students will have the opportunity to work in fabric-based and
paper media to create distinct collages that represent their life. Students will
learn about the origin of collage. They will also be introduced to the legacy of
Mexican artist and educator Rodolfo Morales, who was known for his story-like
paintings and textile-based collages.
Class designed for participants
age 8 and up; families welcomed.
