Last Night of the Mexican Film Series at the Bob Bullock Museum

The Consulado General de México en Austin and the Bob Bullock Museum have been co-hosts to the Mexican Cinema Series since March 30th. Feature films have been screened at The Spirit Theater in the museum for free and attendees also have the opportunity to view the current exhibit, Arte en la Charrería: The Artisanship of Mexican Equestrian Culture between 6pm to 7:30pm for no fee prior to attending the film for the evening.

I have only missed one of the four films offered during this series and have completely enjoyed the experience. The exhibit is absolutely awesome and beautiful. It will remain until June 5th.

Today is the last of the films, La Virgen Que Forjó Una Patria (The Saint that Forged a Country, 1942), a sweeping epic. It starts at 7:30pm.

The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum is located at 1800 N. Congress in Austin, Texas.
